In 1977, after thirty years
working for his brother in Lawrence,
MA, Vincent Ippolito Sr. purchased
the Antique Auto Museum at the top
of Ladd Hill with the intention
of establishing a small furniture
store that would see him through
until retirement. What started out
as an 8,000 square foot mom and
pop furniture store has now grown
to be among the largest in the state
of New Hampshire. Through five major
expansion projects, the original
8,000 square foot showroom has grown
to over 40,000 square feet. As the
store has grown, Ippolito's has
earned a New England-wide reputation
for providing an unsurpassed variety
of quality furniture along with
unparalleled customer service. Many
New England based vacationers to
the Lakes Region have done business
with Ippolito's for the purpose
of furnishing a "home away
from home," only to find that
Ippolito's provides an optimal choice
for serving their needs year round.
The reins have now been turned
over to the founder's sons: Chip,
Rick and Dave. They have continued
to offer quality furniture and service
with free delivery throughout New
England.
