How to
take care of your upholstered furniture.
Upholstered pieces should be vacuumed
or brushed once a week to remove
soil and help to prevent the embedding
of dirt or grime between fibers,
which can increase abrasion and
wear. You should also rotate cushions
if possible to get more even wear.
Spills and spots should be attended
to immediately. Blot up as much
of a spill as possible and then
clean according to the cleaning
codes shown below. The cleaning
code should be shown on the decking
under the cushions. If you cannot
find the cleaning code call the
service department of the store
where the item was purchased. As
with all cleaning products it is
best to pretest in a small inconspicuous
area before proceeding to clean
the front of your sofa. We recommend
that you use a professional cleaning
service when the upholstered piece
needs to be cleaned. Do not unzip
the cushions to have only the covers
cleaned. The covers may shrink and/or
loose their shape.
